Don Beyer Sr., a retired U. S. Army Colonel, founded Don Beyer Volvo in 1973. His philosophy of doing business was to take excellent care of each and every service and parts customer and new and used car sales would flow from it.

Don Beyer Volvo is a family business in its truest sense. Brother's Don and Mike bought the business from their father in 1986. Today the number of family members working in the business stands at eleven.   That includes brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, sons, and daughters. This isn't nepotism, but it is a passion in the family to carry on what Don Beyer Sr. started - a business that is more about serving people and building relationships than it is about selling cars.
